How long does the filter last?

Fridge Filters should be replaced at six monthly intervals, as per the manufacturers original part.  

If I use less water can I change the filter less regularly?

Current industry standards dictate that fridge filters should be changed every six months. As this is their optimum life span - once the filter has been soaked on its initial use, it should be changed 6 months thereafter. This is mainly because over a period of time carbon begins to harbour bacteria which may significalty reduce the filtration performance of the fridge filter, therefore potenitaly leeching bacterial contamiments into your water.

I have changed the filter but the light is still on?

The American fridge reminder light needs to be reset MANUALLY, as there is no other way. For example most Samsung american fridges you manually need to - hold ICE TYPE and CHILD LOCKat the same time for 5 to 8 seconds, this will then reset the reminder light. If this however does not work, the user manual should clarify in detail the procedure.

Will the compatible external fridge filter range invalidate my fridge warranty?

It will NOT invalidate your fridge warranty. The law does clearly state that manufacturers cannot restrict the sale of consumables by threatening to withdraw warranties.

What Warranty do you provide?

If the filter you purchased does not fit, you have the option to be refunded or arrange for the correct filter to be sent to you. Charging only the difference between the two (with the correct cartridge being sent carriage free of charge). However If a fridge filter is ordered by mistake, we cannot cover the postal costs on replacements.
